Leap n’ Learn Preschool’s goal is to provide a safe, educational, fun, exciting and comfortable environment for our students, your children. Our facilities were created solely as preschools and designed with young children’s safety and inquisitive natures in mind. Our washrooms are child size and easily accessible to the children to promote independence. Our flooring is environmentally safe and we have emergency exits from the building and all classrooms for safety. The directors’ vision at Leap n’ Learn is to offer inclusive preschool programs for ALL children ages three to five. We offer parents flexibility through our varied sessions and innovative programs such as our Saturday Preschool and All Year Round Preschool, Summer Camps, French Immersion and Spanish Immersion, Out of School Care for ages 5-12 and summer preschool.

We have a large green space attached to and/or just steps away from all three locations. Leap n’ Learn believes strongly in teaching road and traffic safety, community awareness and a respect for nature.

Leap n’ Learn Preschools are privately owned and operated.  All records and family information are confidential and will not be shared with any other facility or organization.  All preschool photos are only shared with our parents in the preschool. Any photos posted ot the web will will not have children in them. Some preschools have photos accessible for everyone visiting their websites, but with all the uncertainness and vastness of the World Wide Web, Leap n’ Learn feels that the safety of our students and their families is first and foremost.

Our Preschool and Out of School care is fully licensed by the Alberta Government and we are proud to meet and exceed government standards for childcare. Government subsidy is available for qualifying families. We follow all regulations regarding our facility, safety, health and teacher/student ratios. The current Alberta Government ratio for children three to five is 1:12; Leap n’ Learn has a ratio of 1:10 in Okotoks, Walden/Chaparral & Silverado and at many times, as low as 1:6 in some of our sessions. All staff members, including directors, are fully qualified in early childhood education & care, first aid and have their Police Security Check as well as a vulnerable sector search clearance. ALL Leap n’ Learn staff, casual or permanent adhere to this regulation. Leap n Learn goes one step further to ensure your child’s safety as we require all parents wishing to volunteer in the classroom and/or on field trips, to have these same security checks done.
